Guangxi Wuming is the center of China for planting mandarin orange.
Wogan is a hybrid of "Temple" orange and "Danxi" red orange. It was introduced to Chongqing for planting in 2004. After several years of testing and promotion in Sichuan and Chongqing, its performance was average. It broke into Guangxi in March 2012. Since then, Wuming Wogan has grown from scratch to 460,000 acres in just 10 years.
Wuming's land is fertile and rich in selenium, ranking among the top in Guangxi. It is also rich in organic matter and various beneficial trace elements. Wogan is a temperature-loving crop, and Guangxi Wuming has abundant light, heat, and abundant rainfall, which is conducive to its growth. The fruit cultivated by Wuming has large fruit diameter, good taste, sugar-acid ratio between 28-35, and extremely high sludge removal rate. Its quality is better than that of Yunnan, Hunan, Sichuan and Chongqing.
